I thought to give life to a space on the old film projectors, as many searches and requests that lead to this blog concern their old models, including those companies that have ceased their activities or have marginal market shares.

Some simple rules

1. send an email to the address found in the sidebar, with up to three photos of a 35 or 16 mm film projector;
2. write some notes covering the vicissitudes of that projector, whether it be in work, whether it is joined by some collection, or is simply in the cellar;
3. If you want you can request information to learn more about the brand, model, production period, and so on;
4. Photos must be of good quality, meaning they give the possibility to identify the projector;
5. the descriptive text should not be too long.

The photos will be posted after being treated, to improve them, if necessary, but also to prevent them being too heavy to load and display. The author of the photo will also cited by indicating the link to his site.

Surely I will not be able to respond to all requests for information, my job will be to publish a photo with accompanying notes, making this space available to anyone who has stories to tell and giving the opportunity to share knowledge around the movie projectors.

I like the idea of ​​documenting the past and present life of film projectors in telling small stories, especially in this time when several projectors are placed "at rest" not to age but to accommodate the digital age.
